This policy explains what Outrider Commercial Productions LLC (“Outrider”) collects through the web application at outridergeorgia.com, why, and who we share it with. It covers the production incentive, post-production incentive, and tax credit portals.
What we collect
- Account information — name, email address, phone number, mailing address, and the company or firm you represent.
- Taxpayer identification — a Social Security Number or Employer Identification Number. Georgia requires the transferee’s taxpayer ID on Form IT-TRANS, so we cannot complete a credit transfer without it. We collect it only from parties to a transfer, and it is encrypted at rest.
- Transaction records — orders, credit allocations, invoices, payment status, and the signed agreements, powers of attorney, and certification documents you upload or execute in the application, including electronic signatures.
- Technical data — server logs containing IP address, request path, and user agent, kept for security and troubleshooting.
How we use it
To operate your account, process orders, issue and reconcile invoices, produce and store the required agreements, file Form IT-TRANS with the Georgia Department of Revenue, submit filings to the Georgia Department of Economic Development, send transactional email about your orders, and meet our legal, tax, and recordkeeping obligations. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
- Georgia Department of Revenue and Department of Economic Development — the filings themselves, including taxpayer identification numbers, as the credit transfer process requires.
- Intuit (QuickBooks Online) — the customer name, billing contact details, and invoice line items needed to issue and settle your invoice. Payment card and bank details are handled by Intuit and its payment processors; Outrider does not receive or store them.
- Service providers — our email delivery provider, our hosting provider, and Cloudflare, which fronts the site and provides bot protection and cookieless analytics.
- Your representatives — if you authorize a CPA or other agent, they can see the account information and orders they are granted access to.
- Counterparties to a transfer — the information that appears on the transfer documents and IT-TRANS.
- Legal — where required by law or to protect our rights, and to professional advisors or an acquirer in a business transfer.
Third-party services on the site
We use Cloudflare Turnstile to block automated abuse on public forms, Cloudflare Web Analytics (which sets no cookies and does not fingerprint visitors), and the Google Maps Places API to autocomplete addresses. Each receives only what it needs to perform that function.
Cookies
We use cookies that are necessary for the site to work: a session cookie to keep you signed in and a CSRF token to protect form submissions. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Security
Traffic is encrypted in transit with TLS. Taxpayer identification numbers are encrypted at rest. Access to production data is limited to Outrider staff who need it. Uploaded documents are stored outside the application code and are served only to authenticated users authorized to see them. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Retention
We keep transaction records, executed agreements, and filing documentation for as long as needed to administer the credits and to satisfy tax, audit, and statutory recordkeeping requirements, which for Georgia film tax credit transfers can extend several years past the transfer. Account information is kept while your account is active. You may ask us to close your account, subject to those retention obligations.
Your choices
You can review and update most account information in the application. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, email contact@outridergeorgia.com. We will respond as required by applicable law. Some information cannot be deleted while we are legally required to retain it. Transactional email about your own orders is not marketing and cannot be unsubscribed from while an order is open.
Children
The Service is for business use and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date above.
